When students have specialist teacher(s) at school, college or university the usual way of progressing is for them to work on one or substantial pieces of work. I prefer classes to be carried out in small groups, or ideally, one to one.

I use the `5 whys?` approach to prompt student to think by themselves and work towards the answer rather than just relying on the tutor to give them the answers.
