Every new batch of tuition starts with getting to know more about the students. It is at the same time important to give the students enough space to familiarise themselves with me. A discussion will then follow to scope down what will be covered in the syllabus. A work plan is also devised with the aim to complete the syllabus well before the examinations, so as to have adequate time for revision. The following steps outline the process of each tuition session:

I believe every individual has their own way that they find easiest to learn and absorb most easily and part of being an effective tutor is to identify the learning style of students and this is achieved through careful listening, observation, discussion and modes of work (speaking, writing, drawing) etc). In the IB the overall approach os concept based learning where students are helped to develop tbeir own powers of deduction, reasoning and problem solving and this is my approach to tutoring (and teaching). On a practical level this means alot of discussion between me and students leading them to develop their own answers as much as possible to business options, issues and questions. In this way I find students retain what they learn. A blend of teaching methods helps to keep the lessons engaging and interesting. Teaching Experience:
I have over four years of tutoring experience across Maths, Sciences, and Business, supporting students at 11+, KS3, and GCSE level. I have delivered both in-person and remote tuition, with a strong focus on Maths.

Most recently, I provided remote GCSE Maths tutoring to students at the British School Chennai, where I delivered structured one-to-one lessons, created tailored revision materials, and supported students with exam preparation and confidence-building.
