I am a working artist and my work is shown and sold in galleries in Yorkshire and abroad. I teach adult group classes from my home studio as well as offering one to one tuition for all ages. Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for almost 20 years. My first experience was a teacher's assistant at the university level. I have also worked as a paraprofessional in special education environments giving me an understanding of all learning abilities, with added experience with children with learning disabilities including autism. Based on my volunteering experience I can introduce my self as an arts and craft tutor. The materials I use in my art sessions varies from normal stationery, paper, air dry clay and fabric and the projects I have done with my students are Abstract art, paper and fabric collage, air dry clay sculpturing and lots of other miscellaneous, random recycled stuff.

I have volunteered as an art tutor for Mental well-being charity organisation. Armley Park Primary School where I secured a lunch time assistant job. Here I earned the most valuable bit for my community experience working with children. My work at school was nothing to do with studied or lesson my involvement with children was when it was play time and lunch time. I could estimate a child's potential and allotted them some games. The best part was we could create any silly game and customised our own rules. In the dinning hall I helped the tiny new comers settle down and eat their lunch.

Currently I live and create at my studio in Lower Earley (Reading). I love and I am pleased to expanding the field of Abstract Expressionism. I use simplified shapes with small details in the descriptive scenes.
A big part of my inspiration comes from the natural surroundings and through my travels. The main topic that I approach it is landscape, in all moods and mysteries. Through my art I would like to share with you different states of nature.The composition is balanced by the characters you always find in nature: different species of trees, wild animals and their world. The diversity of materials that I use helps me to create in the smallest details, impressions created about the natural world and our experiences with it.
My works can be found in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. I can't imagine a single day without the colours, brushes and canvases.

My passion for Art, Crafts and Design has been of paramount importance to me and sharing my knowledge and skills to all learners in these subjects.I have been drawing, painting and designing for over 40 years. I qualified as a Printed Textile Designer from Polytechnic of East London, on the BA Hons in Combined Studies Course.

From this I gained a valuable insight into the fashion and textiles industry, working with design studios. My love for creating designs continued on to the Masters Degree course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, where I worked for Terence Conan Design Studios.

I developed an excellent rapport with artists and designers in the industry and decide, after several years of working for top high Street retailers as a fashion and textile designer, to build my own company up whilst teaching in Further Education. I became Head of the Fashion and Textiles Course in a top London college. Here all my students on the BTEC Diploma Level 3 and Level 4 courses gained work placements with Vivienne Westwood, Zandra Rhodes and many more. Many entered into their first choice Universities with my knowledge of putting their portfolios together and teaching life drawings to accompany their portfolios.

After having taught Fashion, Textiles and Art and Design for many years, I decided to challenge my other passion in Fitness. With my qualifications as Tutor and Assessor, I began delivering gym and personsal training courses to 16 to 18 year olds and 19 plus learners.
