As a professional and creative native Chinese teacher, I have 10 years of experience successfully teaching Chinese to a diverse range of students and helping them achieve their language-learning goals.

I am deeply passionate about teaching and fully committed to my students' success. This dedication has enabled me to teach Chinese effectively and has earned me strong recognition and positive feedback from my students. Back in China, I taught English at a university, where I was honoured with the title of Excellent Teacher.

BEGINNER'S MASTERY COURSE (20 hours)
Develop an excellent command of Chinese pronunciation, including challenging tones; learn 300-400 commonly used words and master 10 essential everyday conversational scenarios.

GCSE ELEVATION COURSE (tailored to the shortest feasible or required timeframe)
Support students in improving from failing grades or a standard pass (Grade 4) to top Grades 8-9.

BUSINESS SPEEDY COURSE (20 hours)

INTENSIVE COURSE (2 hours per session; not recommended for children)
Designed for students with limited time, particularly exam candidates. This course helps students learn 40-50 Chinese words in a single two-hour session through my specially developed teaching methodology.

"When arriving into the UK from Hong Kong, our daughter took the decision to progress her Mandarin studies through to GCSE level. She had not been on a GCSE curriculum in Hong Kong, so this was a difficult task for her.

"I began studying with Ning in January 2019 with no prior knowledge of Chinese. Three weeks later I took a Chinese proficiency test and placed at mid-novice level (the test was aimed at people who had 120+ hours learning time, I had eight hours under my belt). She was focused on making sure I got as many marks as possible for that test, emphasizing vocabulary and listening comprehension. I wanted to do well for myself, but I also wanted her to be proud of me.

I Use a Variety of Teaching Skills and Techniques to Meet Individual Needs

Every learner is unique and acquires knowledge in different ways. Therefore, I adapt my teaching strategies and techniques to suit each student's individual needs.

To illustrate my approach, I broadly categorise learners into two groups: children and adults.

Children generally have shorter attention spans but are naturally attracted to games, stories, songs, and rhymes. Therefore, I incorporate a wide range of interactive activities into my lessons. This enables vocabulary and sentence patterns to be acquired more easily and naturally while keeping children fully focused and engaged. Colourful flashcards are both enjoyable and highly effective learning tools. After providing guidance and demonstrations, I encourage young learners to create their own phrases and simple sentences creatively. I studied medieval languages, literature, and history at the University of Cambridge before completing an MA in Medieval Studies at the University of York. I then moved to La Rochelle (France) in 2016, where I taught English in two schools. After spending 4 months in New Zealand, I began teaching English at the Sorbonne University in Paris (2018-2020). I am now in the process of completing a PhD which focuses on medieval literature and languages (including Old French). I take a keen interest in language, especially French, and enjoy sharing this with my students.

Teaching Experience:
From October 1st 2016 until April 30th 2017, I taught English to 11-18 year olds in two French high schools. I also privately taught English to a French businessman in preparation for his travels in Australia, and to a young student studying for his baccalaureate exams. I gained a TEFL qualification in 2015.

I am a friendly and unintimidating person, and encourage my students to ask questions on any linguistic point of difficulty. Hi, my name is Samuel-Louis. I was born and raised in London, I trained to teach at the UCL IOE and I am a fully qualified science teacher (PGCE and NQT). I have an MSc in theoretical physics and am studying for an MSc in Mathematics.

I have two passions in life. The first is creating and nurturing art. The second is working with students to help them create as well. My love of art started at a very young age, I was constantly drawing, painting, sewing.
I studied Arts in college followed by a Masters' university degree in Psychology Education.

I am Funda.I am from Turkey so I am a native Turkish Speaker.I graduated with a bachelor`s degree in English Language Teaching from Anadolu University in 2005.After I passed the public personnel selection examination successfully,I was appointed to my first public school in 2006 as a permanent English Teacher in Turkey.

Teaching Experience:
I taught English language and culture in different kinds of public schools from nursery to secondary and age groups between 3 and 18 years old by using differents teaching methods and techniques during 13 years.In those years except teaching English,I also carried out two European Union Projects called Commenius Projects with great fundings.Placing in international projects was one of my dreams. By this way,I provided almost 100 students and school staffs with going abroad,meeting different cultures and practicing their English and also joining an international project to create a common product with different nationalities. Then I moved to the UK to make my biggest dream true.I have been running my own business since October,2019.I founded UkArs Education to teach English and also Turkish to speakers of other languages and to find the most suitable language school for the students from all over the world who want to study English in the UK as an educational consultant.Before pandemia,I had private lessons face to face,gave education counselling service and translated documents but now I have online lessons mostly and sometimes make translation.

Tutoring Approach:
Since pandemia,I have been giving my lessons online and I have been using an interactive book on Zoom while teaching to an online student.There is no difference between online lessons and face to face ones.It is so effective to improve all four skills;speaking,listening,reading and writing.
I am available between 10 am and 3 pm in a day on weekdays.In the evenings,I am also available between 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm on weekdays and at the weekends.

Hard working and patient, with a desire to teach. I've had a love of English and Literature since childhood and am keen to help others with their studying. Currently studying for a B.A in English Language and Literature.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught my own children, and worked on writing skills with autistic people. I have taught English as a Second Language informally for over a year now.

Tutoring Approach:
A calm, relaxed pace, going at the students speed. I can tailor each lesson around the students own abilities. But progress will always be made.
