Teaching Experience:
My third year at University was spent abroad. I chose to teach in France for 7 months in two primary schools which I very much enjoyed. I loved to chat to the children and try to get them to see the importance of learning English. I also au-paired for three months in Italy during my Year Abroad, which involved private lessons with a 7 year old. I have also previously tutored French, which included exam preparation, focusing on problematic areas and improving confidence. I understand how difficult languages can be, I believe I can sympathise with the student. I believe languages are crucial in education. Throughout university I took part in Routes into Languages, a consortium of universities working together with schools and colleges, to enthuse and encourage people to study languages. I particularly enjoyed this role as I was enable to communicate the importance of languages and perhaps inspire some of the children to carry languages on past year 9.

I am able to encourage children to become more confident with their school work by explaining how to complete tasks using different strategies. I am Marwa, a native Arabic speaker from Egypt. I have over 13 years of experience teaching Arabic language and Holy Quran for non-natives. I used to dive in this amazing language to taste its beauty and discover its treasures. This passion led me to change my career as a software engineer to be an Arabic teacher. And it was the best decision I ever had. Teaching Arabic is not just a job for me, it is a life where I can share my passion and guide others to live, love and learn Arabic language. It is also a window to the world so that we can share our cultures and better understand humanity. As well it is my great pleasure to support others and help them achieve their goals in learning Arabic language.

I am a full time Maths teacher at secondary school with a Mathematics BSc Degree. I really enjoy maths (yes this is a cliche), but I love the problem solving aspect of it and the fact there is a right or wrong answer. I always look to simplify problems and am only happy if I fully understand it.
