I was graduated from The University of Hong Kong, major in Mathematics. As a person enthusiastic in Mathematics, I am familiar to analyze the problem and find out the solution logically. Therefore I can explain to the student not only how can I find out the answer, but also why can I know the method so that my students can understand the whole concept clearly. In addition to teaching, I would also be patient to ask the student questions to find out what they are misunderstanding so that I can correct their concept. So my students always can follow the progress in my lesson.

Teaching Experience:
I have more than 10 years one-to-one tutorial and 6 years group tutorial experience in maths. Mainly teach the students in the age between 12 to 17. The teaching content include explain the concept, consolidate the formula and skill by massive practice and train the examination skills. Although I taught maths in Hong Kong syllabus mainly before, I also have taught some students in GCSE. Therefore I also understand the syllabus in GCSE.

Tutoring Approach:
In my teaching experience, I think the most important point is let the student understand the concept so that they know what they are do, rather than just remember the formula and methods. Therefore in my lesson, students can expect they would touch much of different types of question to challenge their thinking. I have worked in a number of different Industry sectors which require maths from construction, manufacturing, IT and banking. I moved into teaching later in life and love to see students grasp new ideas and concepts. My background usually means I can see the importance of each topic.

I am a qualified maths teacher and have been teaching for 9 years. I have taught all ages and abilities from year 7 up to and including A level Further maths. At A level, I specialise in applied maths such as mechanics and statistics. I have been actively working within the church for 5+ years as a Youth Pastor. I qualified in my field whilst working and during this time created all online Religious sessions to educate and support students in their quest to learn more about Religion, it's history and how it became what we know it to be today.

I gained these qualifications after having completed a Graduate Training Programme (GTP). I completed a BSc Physics with Astronomy degree at the University of Nottingham. I have qualifications in all sciences and maths at GCSE and A-Level.

I have taught science (biology, chemistry and physics) since 2011, to all year groups from 7-13, following these exam boards and
specifications: at GCSE, AQA Science, Edexcel IGCSE Science, OCR 21st Century Science, OCR Gateway Science and WJEC Science (all including higher tier and separate biology, chemistry and physics content); at A-Level, AQA Physics, Edexcel Physics, OCR Physics A, OCR Physics B and WJEC Physics. Tutoring Approach:
In 2016, I set up my own tuition company and currently operate this full-time. Tuition has an advantage over teaching in that it enables me to better help students on an individual basis. This level of help is often difficult to achieve in a classroom environment, which can be very frustrating for both the teacher and student.
