I'm an experienced stage and television actor with a degree in English (2.i) from Trinity Hall, Cambridge and a 2-year post-grad qualification from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. I live in central London (Westminster) and enjoy balancing out the right brain activities of acting with the rather more left brain activities of teaching - especially Latin, which I studied through A-Level to degree, taking a Latin translation and literary criticism paper in Part 1 of my Cambridge Tripos.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught both privately and at a range of different schools and colleges for many years. My private client base has principally been in teaching Latin for Common Entrance and GCSE. In terms of classroom experience, I have worked as a supply Latin teacher at Eaton House Schools and as an A-Level English Tutor at Collingham Tutors. The majority of my work is as a private tutor travelling to people's homes and offering additional support to 10-16 year olds who are struggling with their Latin. I have a huge success rate in terms of results, regularly turning C-grade students into A-graders.

This is to ensure the strongest possible performance in the real exams.

With me as a tutor, I will also facilitate the student to completely finish the Biology content five months before the exam. This approach is strongly recommended as it gives the student a total of five months to do intense exam practice. I am familiar with both the AQA and OCR exam boards and have taken part in a AQA Continuing Professional Development course for A-level Biology. I am Alexandra, a native and qualified Greek and Russian teacher and interpreter. I hold an MA in Russian from the University of Glasgow with distinction in Spoken Russian and a BA in Ancient & Modern Greek from Democritus University of Greece. Additionally, I have a Certificate in Public Service Interpreting from Glasgow Clyde College. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I specialise in helping students of all levels excel in both Greek and Russian.

Teaching Experience:
For the past decade, I have had the pleasure of combining my work as a professional interpreter with my passion for teaching Greek and Russian as foreign languages. This journey has been incredibly fulfilling. I've taught students of all ages and backgrounds, from young learners to adults, and have successfully helped many pass important language certifications such as the GCSE, TORFL, and the Certification of Attainment in Greek.

What excites me the most is seeing my students' confidence grow as they develop the ability to communicate in a new language. Each lesson is a step towards unlocking a new world of opportunities - whether it's for travel, work, or academic success. Hi! My name's Sarah, I'm now based in the UK but have spent the last 6 years teaching and working in the beautiful city of Seville, Spain. I'm a Veterinary Nurse and have been since 2012 but studied and progressed into teaching in 2017!

I am friendly, flexible and pride myself on creating a safe and comfortable environment in which my students feel happy to learn and speak freely.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching online since 2017, I teach both English and Spanish to a variety of students from different countries and different stages in life.

I have taught using online curriculums, self- developed curriculums and tailor classes to suit that individuals needs.
I have gained experience in classroom settings, group, single and online classes.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is fairly simple, I am flexible and listen to the needs of the student.

Everyone has an individual learning style and I feel that languages should be tailored to suit the need and learning style of the student, so as to make the language fun, and therefore easier to learn.

I am a practicing nature inspired artist and illustrator and my art is in private collections around the World. I also have licensing representation and my artwork can be found on various items including greeting cards and jigsaw puzzles.

Teaching Experience:
I have been a tutor for adult education for over 15 years working for various organisations, as well as independently as a practicing teaching artist. I have an abundance of knowledge to share and can help students to realise their creative potential. I have experience of teaching groups of students as well as 1:1. I currently run online and in person workshops exploring painting practice.

Tutoring Approach:
I have a very down to earth approach and am patient and encouraging. I have helped many students start from scratch and develop their drawing and painting skills over time. My area of expertise is in painting, in particular oils, as well as knowledge in the application of a large range of other media including watercolour, gouache, dry media and mixed media etc. I can offer tailored learning for adult learners who are new to creating art or those who wish to improve and hone their skills.
