Personal Description:
I am an A-level Maths student predicted an A, with an A* in GCSE Maths. I tutor students up to GCSE level and aim to make Maths clear, structured, and easy to understand.
I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple steps, helping students build confidence and develop a strong foundation. My goal is to support students in improving both their understanding and their exam performance.
Teaching Experience:
I have 5 months of tutoring experience, working with students up to the age of 16. During this time, I have helped students strengthen weak areas, improve their confidence, and become more comfortable with solving exam-style questions.
I am experienced in both one-to-one tutoring and small group sessions (4 students), adapting my teaching style depending on the student's needs and ability.
Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are structured and tailored to each student. I begin with a short recap to reinforce previous learning and identify any gaps. I then explain new topics step-by-step, followed by worked examples.
Students complete guided practice before progressing to exam-style questions, helping them apply what they have learned under exam conditions. I also highlight common mistakes and teach effective problem-solving techniques.
My approach is patient and methodical, with a focus on building confidence, improving accuracy, and achieving measurable progress over time.
