I have 7 years experience working as a Spanish teacher in secondary schools in London including Alleyn's, Lady Margaret School and Kingsdale, teaching years 7 to 13. My exam classes have a very good track record. This year, my year 11 class are predicted 58% grades 9 to 8 and 100% 9 to 6, and my A Level class 63% A*-A and 88% A*-B. I have worked with both Edexcel and AQA in this time, so I know what it takes to get the best grades, especially at GCSE. This includes 20 years as an RAF technician using maths and physics and 10 years in the business and computing world. Consequently I can deliver teaching to students that is real and meaningful. Students benefit hugely from one to one information and reinforcement; and it may be a far more effective learning strategy than classroom teaching. I also value a child's input as they are good judges of what they feel they do well and what they may need help with. I can teach online and offline lessons. When I work offline with my students I send the grammar, videos, podcasts, texts, activities, and so on; all that is needed to practice for the lessons are needed (I will send stuff to practice for more than one hour per lesson). All the skills can be practiced (as requested: speaking with recorded audios, listening with podcasts or videos, reading from articles I have or writing about a specific topic.) All the activities and learning are done whenever the student is free within a week and then I can check it and send feedback to the student.

I work with Google doc, an online document that is just for me and the student, all the activities will be there. if the student has any questions about one activity, it can be written on there or simply the student could write his/her own notes to keep learning Spanish.

I am a UK qualified teacher with 20 years teaching experience. I graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2003 and a year later completed my post graduate certificate in Education at the same university. I currently teach all GCSE sciences as well as Year 12 and Year 13 A Level Chemistry at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
