I am a very experienced English teacher, having taught the subject for 17 years to date. I am currently the Head of English at a local school. I have a B.A and an M.A in English Literature, as well as a PGCE in English teaching, so my subject knowledge is extremely advanced. I am also an A grade A Level English and GCSE English examiner, so have developed knowledge of exam criteria and working to the assessment objectives. I am 48 years old and have lived in the Fylde area since 2002. I have two daughters and one son who are my absolute life. In my spare time I spend quality time with them and live life to the full!!

In 2005 I started out as a teaching assistant and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to further my career and become a primary school teacher. I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS in July 2011. I achieved a good/outstanding grade on my final block placement.

I also entered my class into a local poetry competition which over 100 schools entered. There were twelve winners chosen to have their poems published in a regional magazine. Out of the twelve winning poems, eight children from my class were awarded places in the magazine including first and second place. A very proud moment which is just one of my achievements that have made me more passionate about teaching children and ensuring they reach their full potential.

I am a well qualified Medical Doctor, Registered with the General Medical Council UK, for over 40 years and had extensive experience in Clinical Medicine. I practiced Anaesthesiology in the UK for over 20 years(in NHS and Private Medicine) and 20 years in Hongkong and India.
I am a British Citizen. I have retired from clinical medical practice but still registered with the GMC, UK.

During my working in the NHS as Middle Grade, Registrar, Senior Registrar, and Consultant level in the NHS I had Medical Undergraduates and Trainee Anaesthetists for teaching and training them in the Clinical field.
