Bonjour! My name is Fabienne, I am a native French speaker. I have been a private tutor for 10 years in Cardiff and enjoy helping individual students realise their potential and improve their grades. I am friendly and approachable and can make learning fun.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching French for the past 10 years, face to face and via Skype (online). I have tutored GCSE and A Level students to help them prepare their exams. I have also tutored mature students/adults to improve their spoken French and grammar.

Tutoring Approach:
I think it is essential to identify the person`s level, the reason why they are learning the subject, their learning styles and their interests in order to avoid getting confused later. I then suggest a `learning plan` and discuss with the students how they would like to learn and what level they would like to achieve.

Whether you need help with French pronunciation, general conversation, grammar, or just a confidence boost or maybe a bit of everything, I would be happy to help!

Hi, I have always had a love for languages and would love to instil you with the same enthusiasm. After having lived abroad as part of my degree, I then graduated with a BA Hons Degree Class 2.1 in Modern Languages (German, French and Italian), after which I obtained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). After teaching, I also worked for International companies, using my languages extensively by liaising with customers and colleagues overseas and also translating and interpreting. I have always kept my languages fresh by reading foreign literature and keeping in touch with German / French friends. I am mother to 4 children, but even after my children were born, I continued to do some freelance translation. As a mother and as a teacher, I know the importance of patience and how important it is to make learning worthwhile, enjoyable and fun!

After qualifying as a Languages teacher, I have taught German and French in a Comprehensive School to the 11-18 age group. I have tutored teenagers and adults privately in both German and French. I have also provided French classes in one of the International companies I worked for.

I've over 13 years teaching experience. I teach KS3, GCSE & A level students. I'm currently working in tuition centre and also doing private tutoring.
I've BEng (Hons) in electrical & electronic engineering degree from London South Bank University.

I was a good science student. My favourite subjects are always Maths, Science, Physics, Computer/IT. I always achieved 95% + mark in math since my school term to Degree level. I also always got good marks in Physics and computing.

I love to teach student who is interested learning. I know the trick to let enjoy learning to make sure my student is enjoying learning and understanding what i'm trying to teach.

I'm happy to teach online (skype). If the student does know how to set up skype, i will visit your home and will set up skype and will show my student how to use it. A part from my tuition hour, if there is extra hour needs i'm happy to provide extra hours in tuition.

Some student set up their target for B but i changed their target for A/A* and they were able to achieve that grade.

If you live too far from me and traveling is not possible then i would prefer to teach on online to save time both side. Parent don't need to waste time to drop or pick up their children. I can record the teaching session if parents want to see what their children learning. They can see straight way what their children is learning.

I am French but have lived in Britain for years (both my children, who are in their 20's, were born here). I have also lived and worked in Spain and am fluent in the language. I then taught adults in a language school (Inlingua) in Germany, Italy and London. I came back to this country and got a job in a private school where I was the teacher in charge of Spanish. After working in this school for 21 years, I have just retired but miss the excitement of teaching.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught languages all my life, first in a Welsh comprehensive school (for 8 years), then abroad. In Spain, I taught French and English in a primary school and I then taught adults French, Spanish and English as a foreign language for Inlingua. When I returned to Britain, I taught French and Spanish to GCSE and A level in a private school. I have just retired after 21 years there and I now help a private Open University student. I enjoy teaching and would like to do more tutoring.

As I have a wide experience of teaching languages, I am able to use different kinds of approach to language learning and can apply the best suited one for each student. Hi, my name is Samuel-Louis. I was born and raised in London, I trained to teach at the UCL IOE and I am a fully qualified science teacher (PGCE and NQT). I have an MSc in theoretical physics and am studying for an MSc in Mathematics.

I have been teaching science at a comprehensive school full time for the last two years and spent a few months before that tutoring a range of age groups. I have experience in teaching science and maths from KS3 to A level. I have an MSci degree in Physics from Queen Mary University of London and an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Kings College London. I love past papers! These for me were key when I was revising for my Highers, Advanced Highers, and even for the Medical School entrance exams such as the BMAT, UCAT, and TMS (Germany). I believe they offer key information on what exactly it is you need to know, and to what standard/ depth one must answer questions. At the beginning I like to get a feel for what level of knowledge students have, and together we set goals for what we wish to achieve (e.g. time remaining until the exam, what grade they wish to achieve, if there is any particular section they are struggling with, etc..). Preferably, I like to communicate with my students before the lesson, so we can decide what learning outcomes to focus on during our session, so we can both prepare beforehand.
