I am Head of Chemistry at a large 14-18 Leicestershire Upper School. I have taught at this school for 25 years. I teach GCSE and A-Level Chemistry. I have about 20 years tutoring experience with much success. As well as teaching AQA A-level and GCSE Chemistry, I have tutored OCR, Salters and EDEXCEL. Tutoring Approach:
I think the key to excellent examination results is confidence in being able to tackle the questions set. I, therefore, focus on passed papers alongside the teaching of the theory. I expect the students to ask about parts they do not understand and build on this whilst building up their understanding and knowledge.

I am an experienced secondary science teacher and physics specialist with a number of years experience as a classroom teacher and private tutor. I have a Physics degree from Imperial College London, a Masters degree in Science communication from UWE Bristol and qualified as a teacher with the University of Bedfordshire. I have taught at several outstanding secondary schools in Milton Keynes, for the medical needs office teaching children out of school for medical reasons, as a 1:1 teacher of home educated children and as a private tutor for children in school wanting to improve their exam grades. Native speaker. I've been living in the UK nearly 20 years, most of them in South-West. I'm a keen reader and chair a reading group. I have two extremely bright and boisterous boys, both bilingual. My English is near-native.

For the last seven years I've been contracted to teach Russian Language for MoD, which means that sometimes I can be extremely busy but most of the time I still have sessions available.
I am working towards teaching qualification (Cert Ed leading to Diploma in Education). Russian exam preparation, such as GSCE, A-levels, TRKI is my speciality although I quite like teaching Russian as a leisure course.

I'm a 32-year old music graduate, currently living on the Isle of Man. I completed CELTA in Budapest, Hungary in 2012 and have been teaching privately since then. Hi, i'm Olie, I have studied drum kit grades and to university level at LCCM in London. I now teach mon - fri term time in schools in London and perform in bands and orchestras.

During holidays (half terms, Christmas, Easter and Summer), I am available for online and in person lessons.

I have loads of experience teaching kids and young adults, as well as older students.

Teaching Experience:
My teaching has reading and listening at it's heart. The best thing I have done since coming to London is open my ears to all the styles I didn't like, listen over and over, until they started to grow on me! Music is a cultural and historical lesson as well, it's interesting to see where the popular styles of today came from! Reading will just make you more employable as all the session, musical theatre and holiday camp drummers will tell you! I use software such as Noteflight which allows me to playback scores, making sight reading an easier and more enjoyable process, and meaning I can share scores with students via email. Each student is also given a video recording of what we studied in the lesson, which is a very valuable resource, something they can take away from each lesson, and makes remembering what we learned much easier!

I come from a family where music is extremely important. At school, my first band was a rock covers band where my brother played bass. We played regularly in pubs in Dorset, (you may have heard of the Teddy Rocks festival, we played in the very first festival and have played with my band Last Resort ever since). Hi! My name is Claudia, I'm a 26 year old artist, illustrator, and mum of one.

I work part time in a secondary school/sixth form as an art technician and a large part of my role is assisting our wonderful students with their projects. I often get allocated 1:1 time with students that are having a harder time than others in some way, and I find this element of the job particularly rewarding.
Due to the nature of my work, I have a good understanding of the current curriculum, as well as the GCSE and A-Level programs.

I graduated in 2019 with a bachelors degree in Fine Art from AUB, as well as a foundation diploma in Art & Design from UCA. Since graduating I have been continuously developing my own artistic practice and working on a wide range of commissions, alongside raising my little boy.
