Love the CGP books, great revision guides and handy to carry around. It includes a formula page at the beginning which is very helpful.

The AS/A2 CGP Maths books are good, clearly explained, complete with tips and extra comments, I prefer these to the official exam board texts.

Nothing bad to say about it really...Just a great guide that makes everything seem so elementary and easy to understand and followI must say though, this is best backed up with a Heinemann S1 book so that you get the formulas and get all the practice you need as well

Good book for topping up knowledge, but a little sparse and hard too justify spending money on considering the range of free materials online. However still useful and worth having if you can spare the money.

I am doing S1 applied maths as part of my AS maths under the Edexcel Specification. The text book we were given was outdated and just full of questions, with few worked examples and above all, presented in a very unclear, unconcise way that i found hard to follow. Then i came across this book on amazon and S1 just became as easy as everyone told me it should be. Its got everything you need to revise for topic tests and hopefully it will help in my summer exam. Coming from a modular maths background, i was already behind those who did Statistics for GCSE and this book has brought me up to scratch with the others.I recommend this book to anyone doing S1 as part of the Edexcel Specification. It has already made my life a lot easier and could do the same for you.

A good little revision book. The chapters are different to the actual text book though which is irritating and the examples/work is quite cramped together. Does explain well though and useful along side the text book.

Just what I needed! Gave very concise explanations that really helped, especially with last-minute revision - having been through all of my other notes, this helped to condense them down to what I needed to know. Perhaps could have done with a few more 'exam questions' as I was going through each section. When it arrived, it was a really thin book, but I found that reassuring, since they covered all the topics needed. It showed me exactly what I needed to learn.
