Book Description

This book has all the punctuation practice that pupils aged 7-11 will need to get to Level 3 in Punctuation for KS2 English. It contains lots of exercises to practise using capital letters, full stops, commas, speech marks, as well as question and exclamation marks. There’s even space for setting individual targets. It’s ideal for checking progress and preparing for the KS2 end-of-year tests.

Bought this as punctuation was new to SATS tests, interested to know what was being taught in year 6 at school. As described and reasonable price. I think it will be useful for reference for a few more years yet.

My wife needed a copy of this book for her work but, if this had not been the case, we would not have wasted money on it. The idea of the book is good but so many of the examples in it are poor, to say the least. Many are totally outside the child's experience and others are simply crude and out of place in any suitable English textbook. This book illustrates quite graphically the negative influence some academic publishers exert on the education of our young people!

Needs more repetition/practise pages but nevertheless it is a useful guide to the level expected for this year group.Thank you.
