       High quality book from CGP,

We bought this couple of years ago for our daughter. We bought several other CGP books, since they are so good. There are lots of practice questions. They start with small, straightforward once and then become more complex later on. Which is great feature in CGP books. Not only it builds confidence, but also provides a great level of knowledge when they go further. She archived very good levels in key stage two thanks to these books and excellent teachers!Hope this is helpful to someone out there.

I brought this so my daughter and we could review her school work for last year. The exercise book is great. Its allowed me to gain a better understanding of what she was taught last year, and she's gained confidence in her weaker areas. We've found it great fun over the last few weeks. I've always enjoyed numbers and i think that's starting to wear off on my daughter too.USE PENCIL SO YOU CAN USE THEM MORE THAN ONCE

Fine maths book for the younger child,

The KS2 Maths Workout arrived on time and minimally packaged in a plain cardboard box. We needed to buy this book for my 8 year old daughter as she needed to complete the book to ensure she has covered her year 3 maths in class. She is enjoying it so far and is finding the questions pretty straight forward, but looking through the book it looks like it gets progressively harder as you go through the book. The book is paper back and is relatively thin at about 40 pages, but hopefully it will do the trick for her. I like the idea suggested by one of the other reviews that you should complete it in pencil, so that it can be reused.I would recommend this book for the purpose of making sure your child has learnt the key maths objectives for their age.If this review was at all helpful, I would appreciate if you marked it as such and, if not, please leave comments so that I can improve my reviews.

I bought this for my son half way through year 3 and he really enjoyed working though it. From doing it we as parents can see the sort of things he's learning at school. He needed a little help and then he liked us to mark it at the end of each page. We've now bought him the Year Four book but he's only done one page, there's still time!

... a nine year old with maths - not a favourite subject!,

Bought to help a nine year old with maths - not a favourite subject!! they problems are well worded and clear (with the answers in the back), the paper is a good thickness so pens don't go through the page, we've been using coloured pens to make it more fun. Well recomended

Very pleased with this purchase. Divided nicely into themes so you can support your child at home if you know what they are doing at school and child can also tackle a page at a time without getting too bored. A worthwhile buy.
