I am currently a lecturer on the BSc Psychology and Language science degree at University College London and a psychology examiner for AQA. After completing my D.Phil from the University of Oxford, I worked for 7 years as a Senior Biologist for a small drug discovery company where I was responsible for screening new drug targets in tissue models for human disease. I know that every parent wants to help their child perform well and enjoy school. And also know that for many, academic success doesn't always come easily. This is where I really can help.

I offer affordable home study programmes for children aged between 6 and 16, that put a virtual teacher for one-to-one tuition in your home, seven days a week. This virtual teacher will explain and re-explain the hows and whys of each step of the learning process in Arabic, IT and English.

My materials has versions directly based on the National Curriculum and the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and consider the latest Government advice on teaching children and adults these core subjects.

Personal Description:
I am a freelance photographer and graphic designer, with over 13 years professional experience.
A keen interest in portraiture and commercial photography has resulted in an associate level membership to the Royal Photographic Society.

Teaching Experience:
I am currently the subject lead for Graphic Design and Photography at Lincoln college.
I have been teaching for the last 6 years and have educated all of my students in the real world applications of both photography and graphic design.
I hold registered teacher status with the University of Hull enabling me to teach up to levels 4, 5, and 6 (Bachelors in Arts), as well as PGDE (Post Graduate Diploma in Education) teaching training qualification.

Relaxed and fun approach to teaching, with a strong emphasis on learning by doing.
Learner lead and learner focussed approach not only provides the best results but provides the most fun as well.

Personal Description:
I'm a graduate of the University of Cambridge (Murray Edwards College) in Natural Sciences, specialising in Physics, with over five years of teaching experience. After university, I spent a year as a Science teaching assistant in a top Oxford senior school, and a further two years as a classroom teacher abroad, mainly in China, where I taught Physics and Maths A level. I just finished studying for a Masters in Environment, Politics and Development at SOAS in London. I live in Brixton and am available for online or in-person tutoring and have a flexible schedule.

Teaching Experience:
I have completed over 800 hours of GCSE, A Level and Oxbridge admissions tutorials for science and maths. I also used to work for the business side of a tutoring company so I know how to provide a quality service.

Tutoring Approach:
I like to explain concepts using real world examples that students can visualise and recall the next time they have to answer a question on that topic. I absolutely love Science and Maths, and aim for my enthusiasm to rub off on my students! Previous tutees of mine have said I gave them confidence and passion for their subject while made them feel comfortable to dig deep into their understanding of topics without feeling scared of making a mistake. Outside of teaching I enjoy playing music, swimming and writing.
