Unlike most tutors, I am a qualified teacher and have been a successful Head of Physics, Head of science and currently Lead practitioner in charge of STEM outreach. I am actively involved in training other to improve their Science teaching.

I am an experienced Head of Physics and fully qualified secondary school teacher in Science. I have vast experience of tutoring from year 7 up to A-level and unlike other tutors I am also teaching in the classroom. This allows me to be up-to-date with curriculum changes, coursework requirements and thorough knowledge of areas which students struggle with in all aspects of Science. Hi, I'm a professional engineer with a passion for developing the next generation of STEM leaders. I've worked in both the Aerospace and Automotive industries with companies such as Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Bentley to name a few and I've given talks at universities nationwide about engineering. I tend to use a variety of methods when teaching, depending on the child and their needs, focusing on their age and what their syllabus requires. I am capable to do quick summarised revision sessions, as well as long term lesson plans. Either way I ensure that the student is always given homework and stays revising. If appropriate I also do small mastery tests at the start of each lesson which consists of a five minute recap test, so the student is required to have revised the previous lesson well. Obviously if they struggle with the homework or mastery test, then the lesson plan's pace is adjusted to meet the child's level. I've managed to survive two lockdowns of online teaching and it has been a huge learning curve for myself. During these periods I taugh live lessons using google classroom both on an individual and classroom basis.

The organisation I work for (AET academies) is a national leader for integrating technology with classroom based learning and I have hugely benefited from working for AET in this regard.

My experience in online teaching is based around using google classroom systems but I'm more than happy to adapt to applications that my pupils are more comfortable using.

In my classes, I prepare students for the exams by taking regular mocks or tests after explaining the topic in detail.

I have more than 12 years experience in teaching science subjects.
I have done Bachelor of Science, Masters in Chemistry and having vast experience of teaching students of different grades in schools, colleges and University college as well.
I gave 100% merit result in previous exams.
I have published a research paper related to biochemistry and reactions and currently I am updating myself with new knowledge and information.

Tutoring Approach:
I use different approaches that should be firstly student centred.
I will use online platform, white board, quizes, videos in my lessons and every minute detail related to the topic covered. I will also provide enough time to the student for his knowledge check before explaining the topic.
Different types of tests and techniques will be used throughout the course.
Mind map will be provided.
