Personal Description:
I have a PhD in Education from the University of Warwick an MSc in Business and and two first degrees in IT and Business and Economics. 3 years experience tutoring both at home and online. I live in Salford, Manchester and i'm willing to come to your house or do sessions online.
P.s. Indefinite leave to remain in the UK + right to work in the UK + Enhanced DBS
Teaching Experience:
I have experience teaching A-level in a class room.
I also privately tutor junior schools students (age 6-10).
I teach Arabic to young kids as well as I'm a native Arabic speaker.
For online classes I use Skye and Whatsapp (open to using new software).
Tutoring Approach:
I believe the student should have a good relationship with the tutor. I have vested interest in the betterment of my students as their success is ultimately my success as a tutor. I give many examples and move a t apace that suits the student. I regularly ask students to explain core concepts to me before moving on. I encourage the student to use their own examples when explaining core concepts to demonstrate their understanding.
I rarely give extra homework. Parents are welcome to join the session as listeners.
Also, I also offer the first session for free. no strings attached. So both parents and student can make an informed decision about me a s tutor.
