Personal Description:
I am a qualified and experienced classroom teacher and have completed TEFL training as a passion for sharing the language of English. I am a calm and approachable teacher who will focus on you as an individual.

Teaching Experience:
I have 12 years of successful classroom teaching experience in schools and 6 years as an excellent GCSE examiner for English language and Literature. In this role, I taught students of all abilities including those with additional needs such as autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, MLD, SLD. I have an excellent record with students identified as EAL (English as an additional language). I'm experienced as a one-to-one tutor as well as private tutoring.
Tutoring Approach:
'One size does not fit all' This is the basis of my teaching theory.
30 plus students in a class. Who gets the attention ? The loudest one, usually. Not in my class!
My tutoring style is a student centered approach by personalising the learning dependant upon cultural background and prior learning. Effective differentiation is the key to progress. If you really want to 'make the grade' then make the call.
