Information About Desmond:
Personal Description:
I am a Maths Mentor in a secondary school with a CRB in London with a Bachelor degree with 1st Class Honours from Warwick University. On weekdays, I work in a financial institution and providing tuition to students on weekends.
Teaching Experience:
I have 1 year teaching experience to GCSE Foundation and Higher Maths paper.
This year result was good, few of my students have improved from F to a C grade.
Tutoring Approach:
My tuition style depends very much on the student's individual needs. Gaining confidence is the key in improving Mathematics grades. I also like to share my life experience which I believe is beneficial to help another one believe nothing is impossible to archive if they work hard. Helping the student to find their abilities is key. I strive to help them enjoy their subject and develop not only during tuition but also in broader terms with regards to self directed learning.
I am available after 6pm on Wednesday and most time on weekends.
