Personal Description:
Postgrad student at the University of Manchester studying towards a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Now I am in the third year as I started in Sep 2007.
Teaching Experience:
Before coming here for pursuing a PhD degree at the University of Manchester, I worked as Lecturer for one year at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. I taught undergraduate courses to students in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Besides teaching, marking exams, tutoring students and supervising semester projects I acted as a course coordinator for the MS program of the university. Besides teaching at this university as full time employee, I lectured as a visiting faculty at other well known universities like CASE, ICT and SS-CARE. Exam marking was also important part of these part time teaching appointments. My job experience in the academia can be counted as 6 years in total.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is based on understanding and I strongly believe that it should be according to the level of student.
I start from theory and techniques, than move towards problem solving sessions and
solving real questions from past papers.
