I hold a Physics Degree from Oxford University and am now a commercial airline pilot. I have extensive experience tutoring over the past fifteen years and also spent three years teaching future airline pilots for their ground school exams.

I tutor Maths (including Further Maths) and Physics at A-Level and below. I feel that Maths and Science should be fun and enjoyable to learn - and feel that if they are taught in the right way this can be easy to achieve.

Teaching Experience:
I started tutoring when I left Oxford University and have a very successful record with my past students. My last student enjoyed her GCSE tutoring so much that she went on to choose both maths and physics at A-level.

I feel it is very important for learning to be interesting and enjoyable. I use my passion for Science and Maths to pass this enjoyment on to my students. I have achieved A*A*A*A in my recent A Level results and have also represented my country in various mathematics competition which include me winning an Honourable Mention in Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad.

Teaching Experience:
I have previously volunteered with the Salvation Army and had taught GCSE students over there. Overall it went quite well and I saw improvement in their ability to answer questions and attitude towards the subject.

I usually start with the basics. I believe that with a good basic, the student would then be able to improve him/herself to be better instead of just idly solving a question and showing the steps to the student.
