As someone who has recently experienced what it is like doing the new style of GCSE`s and A-Levels, I understand and recognise what works best in order for students to excel beyond what they think might be their limits. Having achieved 9 A*`s at GCSE(6 "9`s" for GCSE and 3 "A*`s for IGCSE) and A*A*A*A at A-Level recently, I understand what approach works best in order for a student to excel and what the exam boards are looking for so that the pupil can achieve the best grades. I currently teach all lessons in person or online on Zoom or Skype. Online tutoring is very effective, as students can choose the best tutor regardless of where they live and save on travelling time. As with in person lessons, I prepare lesson plans and materials and send them to the student before the lesson. I also set homework assignments, mark the work and give constructive feedback.

A student's personal goals are always at the centre of their development and I like to approach tutoring on an individual basis, as, particularly with music, every student learns in a way unique to them. The first lesson is generally spent getting to know students (and vice versa), understanding the approaches that work best for them and building a much needed rapport. I'm a patient, friendly, knowledgeable maths and physics teacher. I'm a qualified teacher with a Master's degree in Physics with Astrophysics and 15 years of classroom experience.

Teaching Experience:
I have 15 years of experience helping young people realise their full potential. I have always tutored alongside teaching in schools. It's been so successful, I'm now tutor full time.

My approach is adaptable depending on the needs snd aspirations of my student. I readily identify and correct misconceptions. I am able to inspire and build confidence with a focus on conceptual knowledge over procedural fluency.
