My name is Samantha. I am a qualified and very experienced maths teacher. I have 28 years of teaching experience at all levels of secondary education as well as being a local authority maths advisor. The sessions I run are specifically designed for each individual student. This takes into account the level they are currently working at, target grade, their areas for development and preferred learning style.
At GCSE and A level I build into each session past exam questions, including problem solving questions using the techniques learnt in the lesson.
I am happy to set homework questions to build upon the skills covered and will mark and give feedback on any work completed. In addition, I provide a plan of work to be covered for the term/ year after consulting with students and parents.

I have a wide range of tutoring experience. This originated from when I was in Sixth Form and developed a knack for explaining things to my classmates and friends.
