Ben has been working with my boys for past 4 months now and I couldn`t happier with my choice. My boys are really happy to be tutored by Ben. They feel that their confidence has increased and look forward to working with him. As parents we feel Ben knows child`s ability and aptitude like the back of his hand. When Ben started working with my boys I was really happy with his systematic approach towards the subject depending on the ability of the kids. Ben has taught my son for Eleven plus since September and I can see my kid doing his daily homework himself without expecting our help. We can see the way of reading has changed and now he looks for new words and try to find the meaning.

Most importantly, Ben develops the wrap over the kid and takes control of reading and writing completely, leaving us in the back seat to see he completes the daily homework. This is great, as we don`t want to study class 4,5 again or teach a different method than thought in school.

We have been impressed with Ben`s knowledge, experience and commitment. He is reliable and always turns up on time. Ben started tutoring our daughter only 4 months before the 11+ and he quickly identified her needs and developed a programme for her to follow and appropriate workbooks. Ben has excellent teaching skills and my daughter significantly improved in class from lower to top groups. I`ve seen him working really hard with my daughter while preparing her for 11+ and he knows the tricks to make the pupil understand the exam technique and how to improve academically. Ben was educated in Guildford and specialised in the expressive arts. During these years, his creative flare became more apparent.

Ben progressed onto doing a Foundation Degree in Action Photography at Truro College where he specialised in sports Extreme Sports, Natural History, Social Documentary and Events Photography following this he began to prepare for a more commercial direction. Ben still maintained his roots in expressive art during the foundation degree but also developed his technical skills thoroughly, and this has been commented on though out his professional and teaching life.

In 2009, he progressed on to Plymouth University to study for his BA Honours in Photography where he achieved a (2.1) During this course, he spent time intricately studying the history of art and photography, and Ben spent many hours mastering skills in studio large and medium format photography. He concluded the year specialising in colour film, Medium format studio photography and focusing mainly on portraiture, with a project called 'The Paradox of Perfect Beauty'.

This study challenges the ideologies of what is defined as beauty throughout art history, sculpture, and figurative representation. It critically analyses the standardised figures and body shape used in art as well as in modern-day commercial advertising, fashion and other types of portraiture.

Ben worked for 3.5 years at an Apple APR shop in Guildford so has a very in-depth knowledge of Apple technology and software and during this time taught people of all ages to use Apple computer something he still tutors to this day in.

I prefer to teach over a 2-hour basis, and this allows for focused study and practical time of guided activity further to this I will travel for a lesson but ask that travel expenses are paid.
Lastly, due to previous experiences, I ask that 50% of the total job is paid upfront as a non refundable deposits on acceptance of the agreed package. I ask this due to the fact I have to pay the tutoring site based on the agreed amount a fee.

I like for my students to discover the answer themselves as this embeds the knowledge and allows them to master their subject. I can teach online and offline lessons. When I work offline with my students I send the grammar, videos, podcasts, texts, activities, and so on; all that is needed to practice for the lessons are needed (I will send stuff to practice for more than one hour per lesson). All the skills can be practiced (as requested: speaking with recorded audios, listening with podcasts or videos, reading from articles I have or writing about a specific topic.) All the activities and learning are done whenever the student is free within a week and then I can check it and send feedback to the student.

I work with Google doc, an online document that is just for me and the student, all the activities will be there. if the student has any questions about one activity, it can be written on there or simply the student could write his/her own notes to keep learning Spanish.

I believe there is always a place for teaching grammar points, however, my lessons are centred around real-life contexts and grammar teaching is embedded within that learning process. For every class I ensure there is great scope for conversation, both small talk and more structured discussions. I finished my PhD at the University of Reading and my masters at the University of Bristol. I am from Turkey but I have lived in the UK around 8 years. I have done supply teaching for approximately two years. In addition, I did a degree in Turkey which is equivalent to the PGCE degree of the UK Higher Education System.

Teaching Experience:
-I have been actively teaching Mathematics to master and undergraduate students during the term times in the last 4 years at the University of Reading.
-I have had many A-level and GCSE-level students in past 4 years. I have been privately teaching Maths for the last 10 years.
-I have 3 years teaching experience in private schools in Turkey, before I moved to the UK.

Tutoring Approach:
Student-centered teaching is my main approach. The key factor is promoting independent thinking and making a student willingly participate the lesson. You will learn Maths in a fun way and build a connection between Maths and the real world! You do not need to memorize a model solution or a formula, but you will understand the mathematics behind the problems.

I am currently not working in school full time as I am undertaking my Masters in Education at Reading University as well as caring for live my little boy, I am willing to teach online, travel to your home or a nearby suitable study space.

Teaching Experience:
I love teaching and believe that all children can excel. I have been teaching for over 15 years with a large proportion of my experience in years 5 and 6. I have been a SATs marker for over 10 years now so definitely know how to get the best out of children in preparation for success not only in their SATs but also secondary school. I work regularly with children who want to participate in the 11+ entrance exams and have experience in most Berkshire schools' entrance requirements.

My pupils often describe me as 'firm but fair' with lessons that are fun. I believe children are most productive when they are enjoying themselves whilst being challenged. Any child can learn if they are taught in a way that is engaging to them and ensures that their strengths and weaknesses are identified. Welcome, artist friend! I'm Calina and I have been studying art since 1986. I have created the way in this field for more than 35 years. Currently I live and create in Earley (Reading). I love and I am pleased to expanding the field of Abstract Expressionism. I use simplified shapes with small details in the descriptive scenes.
A big part of my inspiration comes from the natural surroundings and through my travels. The main topic that I approach it is landscape, in all moods and mysteries. Through my art I would like to share with you different states of nature.The composition is balanced by the characters you always find in nature: different species of trees, wild animals and their world. The diversity of materials that I use helps me to create in the smallest details, impressions created about the natural world and our experiences with it.
My works can be found in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. I can't imagine a single day without the colours, brushes and canvases.

Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring art from 2015 to all different ages and abilities from young kids to adult learners. I have furthered my experience with children after school program. My philosophy in teaching, is to produce lessons that excite and inspire. I have an enthusiastic style and my lessons are delivered using a variety of the latest learning techniques.
