Painting and exhibiting for over 15 years professionally, specialising in oil & acrylic portraiture, landscape and abstract subject matter, My paintings foundation is from a hyper-realistic background, a portrait style which I studied and explored during and after my university education, while in recent years expanding to expressive mark making and more ambitious subject matter.

I am Erina, a native Japanese teacher regularly tutoring adult learners via online Skype lessons. My home town is Tokyo, where I was teaching Japanese. I mainly use a text book called Genki in my lessons which covers reading, writing, speaking and listening. I am a qualified maths teacher and have been teaching for 9 years. I have taught all ages and abilities from year 7 up to and including A level Further maths. At A level, I specialise in applied maths such as mechanics and statistics. Prior to being a teacher, I was a teaching assistant and worked with very weak students and was able to get them to see the importance and relevance of maths.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that students learn when they are enjoying it, and remember when they see the relevance. I try to make the topics interesting and show where they are used in real life. The new curriculum is based on problem solving and I like to get students to think about how they would find solutions to the questions. Understanding what is being asked is the foundation that we can build on. My enthusiasm for maths comes across very strong. All lesson are online only.

Hello! I would consider myself a patient tutor with experience. My preference is to hold in person lessons with my students and teach them to understand the topics, rather than to just pass the exam.

Teaching Experience:
I am a female maths tutor with 5 years experience teaching the subject to all abilities for GCSE and KS3. I am also familiar with Edexcel, OCR and AQA exam boards. If you have an alternative exam board, I would be happy to look into this as well. My preference is to hold in person lessons.

I am a dedicated tutor that seeks to provide detailed classroom activities that allow students to reach their potential. I have experience within the accounting industry and keep my knowledge relevant by working 1 morning per week in an accounting role, covering profit margins, payroll and invoicing.

Teaching Experience:
I have 8 years experience as a tutor and have covered all levels of AAT from level 1 to level 4. I am dedicated to the students and provide a wide range of activities to allow each student to understand, based on their personal learning style. I stay relevant with the awarding body by keeping up annual CPD and attending the regional events for both adult learners and apprentices.

Tutoring Approach:
I bring lots of experience to the role and approach each student individually depending on their learning style. I will adapt my teaching style on evaluation of the students needs. Due to my hands on approach and up to date knowledge, I bring life experiences to the classroom to allow the students to understand the affects of journals and book keeping entries on the business or the statements that they will produce.
