Often someone can grasp a topic in 5 minutes of one-to-one that would have taken 2 hours to cover with a larger group. Once you are confident with a topic, we move on rapidly to the next one. A current A level tutee of mine told his father "I learnt more in that 2 hour session than I have all term at school" and his headteacher wrote to congratulate him on his improved grades. We are going to use examples, articles, flashcards, pictures, illustrations, videos, songs, poems, books, blog posts and other authentic texts.


There will be homework tasks for revising vocabulary; watching, listening, reading and writing exercises if student have time for it.


I have created my own textbook. There are various activities and puzzles at the end of every chapter in my textbook. Which is a fun and effective way to learn new material (e.g. quizzes, crosswords, word search etc.)


My book has prompts in English. So, if you know some basic English, it would help you in my classes.
