My approach to tutoring is student-centred.

Depending on the age and requirements of the student, I can adapt my teaching approach to the individual's needs. I am happy to teach groups of up to 5 students. It would work out less expensive!

Primary level would be teaching through songs and games in a fun way. Lessons usually last 30 mins, which will cost £20 per pupil for a one-to-one session. I am happy to teach a small group of pupils and the cost can be shared between them to make the lessons less expensive (£10 per pupil for 4 pupils in one session).

GCSE and A Level would be focusing on exam preparation and speaking practice, supporting the student to become more confident. I would base my teaching on supporting the subject teacher.

Adult teaching would be tailored to the individual's needs. Some students just want to improve their speaking, therefore I would tailor the lessons to accommodate their need. Some may just want to learn some basic phrases for a holiday in Germany, I would plan lessons based on that need.

I can also run grammar, conversation and writing workshops in German.

I now offer English (as a foreign language).

I graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in English Literature, and then from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, graduating with a BA in acting, where I was the recipient of the Noel Coward Scholarship from 2008-2011. A graduate from Amiens University with a BA in English Literature & Civilization, I also studied Fashion Design & Illustration in the international Paris American Academy.

In search of calm and beauty, we now live near peaceful meadows, a mere 5 minutes drive from Banbridge, a 20 minute drive from Newry and 40 minutes from Belfast.

I have prepared many children for their examinations in the schools I have taught at and individually through tutoring. All children are successful in attending their chosen school.

I currently enjoy teaching in an independent primary school setting from 4 - 11 year olds and have experience in teaching all subjects to a wide age range.

As well as specialising in preparing children for entrance exams and 11+ I have a masters level qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN). I am genuinely passionate about helping those children with barriers to learning succeed, and to become happy and confident learners.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe fun, enjoyment and confidence are the key elements of learning. It is imperative to teach in a variety of ways and establish the best learning style for each individual pupil exploring Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic methods of learning. By 'doing' a learner learns and remembers. My initial training as a teacher has helped me to teach any subject effectively. A qualified and experienced chemistry teacher working in a top London school and offering private tutoring sessions for pupils who want to succeed in a challenging subject. I am currently taking students for the 2019/20 academic year.

I am a PGCE qualified teacher with Qualified teachers status(QTS) in Science with Chemistry.I have also completed an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.

Teaching Experience:
I have over 11 years experience in the private Education system, working with students from 11 years(Year 7) to 18 years(A-Level/IB). I have taught Science up to GCSE and Chemistry A-level across all exam boards with a proven track record on an occasion boosting a students grade from an U to a A.

I have taught in a range of secondary schools in London and have been in charge of Key Stage 5 Science (A level Sciences) working with under performing students to boost grades as well as improving the percentage of A*/A in the cohort. I am currently working as a Head of Chemistry in an East London School.

Tutoring Approach:
My Lessons are tailored towards the student and feedback can be given to the parent if required on the first lesson for initial impressions and a suitable plan going forward. There is regular contact with the parent and Mock exams conducted throughout the year(free of charge as long a regular weekly lessons have been taking place). Students will be provided with topics that they need to focus on as well as teaching of the specific areas that student is weak in as well as application onto past paper questions the student needs.

I am an engineering graduate from the class of 2019 and completed my master's in Material Engineering in 2021. During my postgraduate studies, I had the enriching opportunity to participate in a one-year exchange program in Turkey, where I conducted significant research.

With a solid five years of teaching experience, I have dedicated three of those years to home tutoring students from 5th to 12th standard.
