Highly recommend!!! Ellie has genuinely been the best chemistry teacher I have had, she is also an examiner which is a great help as her knowledge is always up to date not only with content but also exam questions and mark schemes. She explains the chemistry in as much detail as you need as opposed to the majority of teachers who focus more on memorisation and wrote learning. So you have a good understanding (which is the best teaching style as exam questions can require a lot of application.) Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is tailor-made, meaning that I am always seeking to adjust to the particular needs of each student. In some sessions, especially those that are close to the exam period, I focus on developing their exam skills and go through some well-tested revision techniques.

For all sessions, the objective is to make the class as interactive as possible. I follow the "Socratic" approach to learning, whereby I guide my students towards obtaining the correct answers with a series of well-placed questions rather than providing the answers straight away. I have more than 10 years one-to-one tutorial and 6 years group tutorial experience in maths. Mainly teach the students in the age between 12 to 17. The teaching content include explain the concept, consolidate the formula and skill by massive practice and train the examination skills. Although I taught maths in Hong Kong syllabus mainly before, I also have taught some students in GCSE. Therefore I also understand the syllabus in GCSE.

Tutoring Approach:
In my teaching experience, I think the most important point is let the student understand the concept so that they know what they are do, rather than just remember the formula and methods. Therefore in my lesson, students can expect they would touch much of different types of question to challenge their thinking. I have completed a PGCE in secondary school science in London and did two placements to get practical experience. I also have qualifications in environmental science (post grad), acoustics and mechanical engineering.
Currently I'm working in the construction industry as an engineer doing mainly acoustic testing and consultancy; this involves driving extensively within the south east and beyond.

Thave taught EFL at intermediate level in London for a year in groups. I have also taught schools and engineers in Japan for three years including teaching presentation, TOEIC and TOEFL.
