Hello. I am a fully qualified teacher with experience across the whole of the primary curriculum, including special needs and teaching for SATS tests . I continually update my teaching, mainly through the National Education Union online training sessions. I have had great results tutoring children extensively on a 1-2-1 basis for SATS and the 11+ entrance exam, plus have experience teaching adult literacy and English as a Foreign Language. I finished my postgraduate study at the University of Birmingham in Dec 2018. I had stayed in UK for more than a year. I really love UK. The time when I was living in UK left me a great and impressive memory.

I was a volunteer teacher when I was an undergraduate student in China. It was in a countryside school of Hunan province. I went there with my schoolmates in a summer holiday. I am an extremely skilled and dedicated teacher with nearly 30 years of classroom teaching experience, within the London Borough of Redbridge. I hold a degree in psychology, followed by a Postgraduate qualification in Education (PGCE), specialising in English. As a result, I achieved my QTS (Qualified Teaching Status).

Alongside my teaching career, I have consistently tutored children on a one-to-one basis, including home educated learners. I am a qualified primary school teacher with over ten years of experience working in education. I have taught across different year groups and currently tutor pupils from Years 3 to 9 in English and maths. I also have extensive experience supporting children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. I am warm, reliable and approachable, and I genuinely enjoy helping children recognise their abilities and make progress.

Teaching Experience:
I have worked in education for over ten years and qualified as a primary school teacher in 2020. During this time, I have taught Years 2, 4, 5 and 6, as well as gaining experience across EYFS to Key Stage 3 through supply teaching. I have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and particular experience in English, maths, phonics and SATs preparation. While teaching Year 6, 86% of my class achieved the expected standard across reading, writing and maths.

Before qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a teaching assistant, intervention teacher and one-to-one SEN support assistant. This gave me valuable experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and other additional needs. Most importantly, I create a patient and encouraging environment where pupils feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and gradually becoming more confident and independent learners.
