Personal Description:
I'm an experienced primary educator with over 30 years experience. I will work alongside your child and support them in their learning. Each child is an individual, so there is no 'one size fits all' that matches every child's needs. I will ensure your child has an individualised learning programme that supports his/ her requirements.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching since 1987. I have experience from EYFS through to Year 6 teaching the Primary Curriculum. I have experience of coordinating various subjects in schools, from Design Technology to being Special Education Needs coordinator. I currently teach KS2 children with Grammar, Spelling, Spanish and Music.

Tutoring Approach:
Each child is an individual and so my approach to teaching and tutoring is to reflect this. I have tutored a KS3 pupil in Conversational Spanish as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award (developing a new skill), as well as a KS2 pupil in Spanish, English and Maths. I have taught English as a foreign language for a non profit organization called fundación melior in Spain to students with learning disabilities.

I try to organize games to teach basic vocabulary to my students,such as flashcards and quiz tests. I also try to organize my lessons by engaging in speaking activities about various topics,ranging from sports,games,books and so on. Sometimes,I also bring books to practice reading comprehension.
