I am an MFL teacher with bags of enthusiasm and an immense passion for education and children. I currently work part-time in a secondary school in Surrey, and have previously in a Boys Grammar School in North Kent, as well as having enjoyed spells living in Quebec and Aix-en-Provence in the past. I take a different approach to my tutoring depending on the individual I am working with. I trained in dance from the age of 3, and when I was about 13/14, started helping with the teaching of the younger children at the school. Personal Description:
I am bilingual in Italian and English after living in Italy for 20 years, I also am fluent in Spanish and French from learning those languages at school from the age of 7. I like to teach by combining text book based learning with practical use of the language I am teaching so for example a typical lesson might start with reviewing the exercises set out in a textbook such as answering a series of questions on a writing passage and then moving into a more conversational type of lesson where we would discuss our plans for the weekend in the language being taught or try some practical exercises such as making a plate of food using the language being taught.

I also offer computer studies lessons where I can t we achieve students how to use Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint or also more advanced packages and languages such as SQL and Power BI/Tableau.

Teaching Experience:
I have given language tuition to many students via UK Tutors over the last 10 years ranging from secondary school students to adult conversational classes.

Tutoring Approach:
I like to keep lessons quite relaxed and aim to make it a fun and practical way to learn a language rather than just memorising a text book.
