Tutoring Approach:
The communicative approach centered in developing students' skills and abilities is my preferred tutoring approach, but it depends on the students needs. In the first lesson there is an assessment of competence and a learning style evaluation so I can easily tailor the Spanish course according to the needs of the student.
In all cases, Spanish classes include grammar, written exercises, talking and listening, and the writing practices are carried out through the homework (optional)

My courses are mainly interactive which helps students of all ages enjoy learning a foreign language and feel relaxed during classes. I am a professional in the Wine Industry, having previously worked for the mass participation sport company that organised the Barcelona Marathon. I have a 2:1 Degree in Modern Languages with Business (Spanish & Portuguese) from the University of Nottingham, having learned Spanish from the age of 13. I spent a year living in various parts of Spain, improving my conversational and business Spanish, as well as annual trips to Andalucía visiting relatives.

Teaching Experience:
During my year abroad at university, I spent 1 month working as a Teacher's Assistant at a school near Sevilla and more recently I've tutored the children of family friends at 11+ Level, GCSE and A-Level. In my previous employment, I also held monthly Spanish classes with colleagues to improve general conversational language.

I take an adaptable approach to teaching, tailoring each class to the needs of the student.
