Tutoring Approach:
Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. Personally, I believe that conversation is the key to becoming fluent in a language, but at the same time I do not neglect the importance of writing and reading comprehension. I therefore aim to split my lessons as evenly as possible between speaking, reading, listening comprehension, and writing assignments.

Hola. My name is Maria. I am a qualified and experienced native Spanish teacher from Spain; teaching Spanish from year 7 to GCSE, IGCSE, A level and University, across all exam boards.

I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Spanish. I have been teaching for 33 years in England and in the past 22 I have been working at a private school in Dorset, then in Exeter and I'm now back in Dorset. I consider myself to be efficient and reliable with a particular interest in and care for the individual pupil.
