I am a very experienced teacher, head of faculty, head of sixth form, examiner and writer. I have recently worked for one of the major examination boards on the new specifications for both G.C.S. E. and A-Level.

Tutoring Approach:
I make presentations catered for the tutee for every lesson. I make them as interactive and engaging, as this is what allows for retention. Throughout the lesson I make sure that the tutee understands the content (e.g. asking the tutee to rephrase the content that is being learnt to make sure they fully grasp the topic.) I end lessons with recap practice exam questions.
After the end of the lesson, I send the presentation via email so you can revisit it at any time.

I have experience tutoring A-Level students in History, Sociology, and Philosophy & Ethics in both one-to-one and small-group sessions. The same goes for GCSE students studying History and Sociology. My role involved planning lessons tailored to individual learning needs, developing students' subject knowledge, and teaching effective exam techniques across Edexcel, AQA, and OCR exam boards. If the subject you are studying is not assessed by these exam boards, do not worry! I am a fast learner and can quickly study what examiners are looking for in exams. I hold a PhD in Law from Glasgow Caledonian University, an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Strathclyde, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Law, and an LLB. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have extensive experience in university-level teaching in the United Kingdom. I currently teach at a UK University. Previously, I taught at Glasgow Caledonian University as an associate lecturer for nearly two years.
