I am a female primary school teacher in the Doncaster/Wakefield area. I am a 26 year old living in Feltham, I work full time as a Disability Advisor and Autism Specialist Mentor supporting higher education students to access reasonable adjustments, provide pastoral support and advice. I take a client-centred approach and have been trained in Motivational Interviewing. I have passed my qualification component related to training others: the skills I have developed both in facilitating and training are applicable to 121 tutoring. I have also developed a national training on Behaviour Management of children, therefore have experience and in depth knowledge of child development as well as trauma and attachments.

I take a client-centred approach, exploring preferred learning styles and can use Motivational Interviewing to collaborate, elicit and provide autonomy to students.

I use Kolbs learning cycle as a benchmark for my training/teaching. I have published across a wide range of journals from the British Journal of Sociology through the European Review of Economic History to Political Studies. My research has been covered by the press including the i paper, the Guardian, the Telegraph and the Observer.

Teaching Experience:
I have wide experience teaching across the UK university system including Oxford, Kent, UCL and LSBU. I have been a Sociology lecturer and tutor for over twenty years. I have teaching awards where I was nominated by students. I have taught across the Sociology curriculum including sociological theory, research methods, social statistics, political sociology, sociology of education and sociology of religion.

I hold a PhD in Law from Glasgow Caledonian University, an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Strathclyde, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Law, and an LLB. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have extensive experience in university-level teaching in the United Kingdom. I currently teach at a UK University. Previously, I taught at Glasgow Caledonian University as an associate lecturer for nearly two years. My teaching experience covers Contract Law, Tort Law, Company Law, Business Law, Human Rights Law, International Commercial Law, International Trade Law, International Investment Law, and criminology-related subjects.
