I am the author of four scientific publications in the field of linguistic relations in Russian, English and Tatar.

While living in the UK I have worked as a freelance tutor and translator for Scottish&Newcastle, Scottish Parliament, NHS and Rudolf Steiner School. I am really proud of the fact that among my students are people of different ages, knowledge of Russian and purposes of learning it and who are professionals in different fields for example in language and science teaching, sales and marketing, medical research, social work, to name just a few.

Tutoring Approach:
Always try to make students interested in the subject I teach. Create a ftiendly and an encouraging learning environment. Not afraid to praise them even if they do not get immediate good results. Tend to get feedback from them. Plan carefully each lesson. Use the Internet and PC in preparing for lessons. Try to make lessons interesting, various by combining different aspects of learning a language: Grammar, Vocabulary, Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading. Each course that you will attend is tailored to your needs and depends on your level of knowing Russian and your purpose of learning. I teach Russian through the Skype system as well. Each month organise Russian Converstaion Club for my students to help them learn some more about Russia apart from lessons. We discuss various topics in Russian (the topic of each session is given in advance), do different activities based on the theme of the session. Art is my calling and my biggest passion. I paint artworks in Art Deco style using oils and acrylics. I'm proficient in many Fine-Art techniques and have deep knowledge of art history.I have experience teaching Fine-Art in the schools where I have worked primarily with GCSE and A-Level students.

Tutoring Approach:
I tailor my Russian and German lessons to the student's learning goals, academic needs, required vocabulary and situations the language will be used at. My lessons are interactive and fun. I focus on vocabulary, grammar learning, speaking and understanding and cover the most interesting topics of the culture, literature, art and traditions of Russia and Germany. For the younger age ( and not only) I offer fun educational games. My ambition is to help students to improve their foreign language proficiency and to achieve their life goals.
I also offer professional Fine-Art lessons for all levels of students which are knowledgable, interactive and creative.

Personal Description:
Здрaвствуйте! Would you like to read, speak and understand Russian for any purpose: to pass your GCSE and A level exams, for travel, business or pleasure? I would be able to help. All my lessons are tailored to meet any learning needs and make the learning journey enjoyable.

Teaching Experience:
I am a native speaker of Russian and a Head of a very successful Russian department in a grammar school in London. I teach pupils from year 7 to 13.
I have been teaching languages in the UK for the past 25 years and pride myself in helping my students achieve their dream of studying Russian at Oxbridge and other Russel group universities. Many of my pupils fall in love with the language and carry that love throughout their lives. I am a teacher-examiner for GCSE and A level Edexcel Pearson examboard.

There is a great lack of teaching and learning resources in Russian, that is why I create them myself and base them on the needs of my students.
