I have an MA in Classical Philology and Russian Studies from the University of St Petersburg and am qualified to teach Russian, French, English and Latin. Since graduating in 1978 I have worked extensively in language teaching and translation / interpreting. I hold a bachelor with honours degree in Linguistics (Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures) from Moscow State Pedagogical (Teacher Training) University (2016). I have also received a certificate from Moscow State University Russian Language Centre (2017), qualifying as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language.

I have been teaching languages for more than 8 years. My specialisation is teaching adults. I am proud to say that I am truly passionate about my profession and what I do. Prior to moving to the UK, I was teaching English. I also have experience in preparing students for examinations at the University of Edinburgh.

I try to advance in my profession, constantly improving my materials, skills, methods, techniques, and knowledge. I make my own materials, flashcards and exercises. I also dedicate a fair amount of time to learning new methods, techniques and self-improving.

Materials. Books and resources are provided by me. You will also receive digital and/or printed materials and assignments.
