Let me briefly describe you my past experience. I was born in Saint-Petersburg and graduated from Russain State University of Foreign Languages, I have a master's degree in teaching of modern languages. I have been working first at school, then privately for more than 15 years.

I started teaching Russian at Trent College in Derbyshire as an extra-curricular activity for a group of students in year 7-8 and 9, providing all the teaching materials and authentic programme. I covered all the main parts in terms of philology and diverse the lessons with curious facts about the country, traditions and customs. At the end of one term course, students had basic skills in reading and writing, they were able to introduce themselves and speak on common themes (hobbies, cuisine, travelling etc). I grew up in Russia, got my Bachelor's degree in St Petersburg (Regional Studies, Central and Eastern Europe) and after this I made a life changing decision to move to the UK.
I know what the language barrier is. I experienced the difficulties of moving into a new country and accepting a new culture.

I never stop learning myself. I work as an interpreter and, therefore, I constantly expand my knowledge in different spheres of life.
