This coaching-based approach I take has proven highly successful. I approach each student and the sessions with an open mind to learn what I need to be of support.

Combining motivational coaching techniques, I offer a uniquely engaging, personally attuned service. The first lesson typically consists of a complimentary educational assessment (usually 30 minutes) to help identify key areas for improvement . All results can be shared with the parent/guardian. Based on this initial assessment, a 100% individual and tailored programme of learning is created. I am a friendly and approachable teacher and examiner with over a decade of experience. I hold Masters degrees in Education and Public Health, and am working on my PhD in London. Originally from North America, I have lived and worked in London since 2010.

I like to ask questions of the tutees to get them to think, but also to connect the work with what they may have already experienced. I have been actively working within the church for 5+ years as a Youth Pastor. I qualified in my field whilst working and during this time created all online Religious sessions to educate and support students in their quest to learn more about Religion, it's history and how it became what we know it to be today.

Proficient in all aspects of Theology & Religious Studies. Able to support Theology Degree undergraduates as well as youth based education in Religious Studies by using interactive targeted research coupled with online tutoring.

I am a friendly and approachable tutor with extensive experience in academia, both as a graduate teacher and a student (I'm currently a PhD Psychology student). Having completed my GCSEs, A-levels, a BSci in Psychology, an MSci in Psychological Research, and currently pursuing a PhD in Perceptual Psychology, I understand the challenges students face. I know what it is like to miss something or not quite grasp a concept as explained by a lecturer. While I love studying, I also recognise that it can be difficult, so I maintain a strict no-question-is-stupid policy. I encourage you to ask me anything and everything related to our studies.

Teaching Experience:
I bring over four years of teaching experience as a graduate teaching assistant, specialising in guiding first-year undergraduate students who are just beginning their journey in Psychology. During this time, I have gained extensive experience teaching a wide range of topics and modules within the Psychology degree program through interactive seminars and lectures. I am currently undertaking the Advanced HE Associate Fellowship to develop and demonstrate my teaching excellence.

I am a Head of Department (of RS and Theology and Philosophy) at a highly successful independent secondary school. I am father of two girls and have been a teacher for 16 years working with students of all secondary school ages (11-18) and abilities.

Teaching Experience:
I have been a teacher of RS/Philosophy for 16 years and have been a Head of Department for nearly 10 of those years. I have been an A Level examiner for AQA Philosophy and teach GCSE RS, A Level RS/Philosophy, IB Philosophy and a range of other qualifications. I have been a tutor before and successfully brought students through GCSE and A Level to achieve the very top grades.

Tutoring Approach:
I prefer an online tutoring session and seek to provide clear delivery of key course content with short activities to help recall and then very clearly explain concepts so students can understand the ideas very well. I use illustrations and analogies to help students relate to the information and make it relevant to them. I find this really helps the content be understood.
