Hi, I'm Anna. I'm an author and a poet, I have had many poems published, won first prize in an international poetry competition (2011) and have also brought out two collections, which are on sale on Amazon. In 2015 I published my memoir A Hippopotamus at the Table. Set in South Africa in the 1970s. I'm about to publish my second memoir and published a book called Writing Memoir. Personal Description:
I'm an experienced tutor from the UK, now pursuing my Master's degree in Communication Strategies.
I graduated from Queen Mary University London with a first class degree, and was selected to present my thesis at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research.
I believe that tutoring is the perfect tool to help learners achieve their goals, through 1:1 attention and in depth exploration.

Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring since long before I graduated, and I now bring many years of experience to the table along with a varied academic and professional profile.
My students see improvements in their predicted and real grades, along with growth in their academic confidence.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that success depends on a collaborative approach: seeing a positive outcome requires both tutor and student to share a goal which they can consciously work towards.
I set goals with my students early, to make sure that we can use our time together as effectively as possible.
