Personal Description:
After leaving school, I studied at Nottingham University for a BA in Music, then for a MA in Theology from the London School of Theology. Having worked for a while at an inner-city secondary school, I went on to complete a research masters and a PhD in Biblical Studies, whilst working as a teaching affiliate at Nottingham University. I have since moved to Stourbridge to work in a local church whilst continuing academic research and writing. My own interests are principally in theology, philosophy and politics, but also the arts and culture. I am married, have five children, and am a keen football fan (Manchester United).

I'm happy to be flexible in my approach depending on the particular needs of each student. I'm happy to concentrate on what is needed to get good grades, but alse believe that education is about more than being able to pass exams! I have worked hard for my qualifications and belive in disciplined, productive study; however for some students getting the highest possible grade is not necessarily the most important thing. Each person is an individual with different strengths, weaknesses and aims, so I try to structure how I teach around individual needs and goals. When teaching I also believe that giving people self confidence, an ability to think critically and an enjoyment of the subject is an important part of helping them to improve.

Tutoring Approach:
Receiving tuition can be a bit daunting at first, so I try to make sure my students feel I`m on their side and there to help them with anything they might not feel able to figure out at school.

My approach to tuition is to assess what specific needs a student has and then to organise the sessions around those needs. Some students need essay technique help and some have a specific set of topics they want to go over. Others might need an entire course taught to them as they have left school or are being home educated.

In my years of tuition, I have built up a cloud-based digital archive of hundreds of handouts which can help a student get back on track and achieve the highest possible grade.

Paolo is an Italian songwriter, composer, and stage director based in London.

He has independently composed, produced, and released solo albums, as well as soundtracks for theatre productions and songs for other artists. Beginning his music career in 1992, Paolo is also an accomplished singer and guitarist who has performed across Europe and collaborated with numerous international artists.

His unique writing style has evolved over years of traveling, literary studies, and ongoing poetic exploration, which earned him first prize in poetry at the Pirandello Stable Festival in 2012.

Paolo's theatre and cinema career began in 1998. Alongside intensive drama school training, he spent seven years honing his acting and directing skills at the Teatro Regio di Torino, working under renowned directors Franco Zeffirelli, José Carlos Plaza, Ugo De Ana, Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, and John Cox.

Since 2002, he has written and directed numerous plays, including The Bald Soprano by Ionesco, The Trojan Women by Euripides, and A Doll's House by Ibsen, staged in various UK venues.

I'm currently working at a 2:1 standard on an interdisciplinary degree at the University of Nottingham. This program allows me to weave a rich academic tapestry, blending sociology, politics, theology, and more.

From a young age I've held a deep love for learning, and I would be genuinely thrilled to facilitate it in others. On my uni course I have developed and delivered high-quality presentations and written many first-class essays. At college meanwhile, I ran the LGBT+ club at which I taught lessons and developed displays explaining the histories of marginalised groups. I am highly interested in social issues, spending time every day reading about current affairs, political theory and so on. I also love to watch films as well as read and write poetry. I am currently in the early stages of working on a novel. I enjoy practicing French. Although I haven't taught professionally, I endeavoured to make LGBT+ club educational when I ran it by teaching 'lessons' on LGBT+ history and issues. I've certainly practised patience when it comes to looking after my friend's younger brother! We had some regular visitors who were dealing with mental health difficulties which especially allowed me to grow my compassion.

I enjoy finding ways to explain things to people that makes the complicated, easy. What I think sets me apart is my philosophy. Education isn't a one-size-fits-all process. It's a personal journey, and everyone has their unique rhythm and route. Hello students I have 4 years plus experience of teaching English as Foreign Language. Both online and face to face. My charges are 25.00 per hour online. Or 30.00 for face to face.

Teaching Experience:
Over 4 years experience and a Qualified Celta Teacher. I have taught ESOL in the local community, taught General English in a College. I have also taught online all around the world.

I graduated from Queen Mary University London with a first class degree, and was selected to present my thesis at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research.
I believe that tutoring is the perfect tool to help learners achieve their goals, through 1:1 attention and in depth exploration.
