I'm a writer, composer, director and artist, and prizewinning History finalist at the University of Oxford, with experience of a broad range of learning environments and teaching styles, and substantial industry experience in music and the creative arts. I specialise in English and Mathematics for primary-aged learners, including SATs and 11+ preparation, as well as supporting students to strengthen core skills, exam technique, and independent learning.

I have over 12 years of experience working across different areas of education, including 3 years as a Teaching Assistant, 8 years as a Primary School Teacher, and the past three and a half years as a full-time online tutor.

During my time in schools, I taught across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with responsibility for planning and delivering lessons in English and Mathematics, as well as preparing pupils for SATs and supporting targeted intervention groups. I have also worked closely with pupils with additional learning needs, adapting resources and approaches to ensure progress and engagement.

Alongside classroom teaching, I have extensive experience delivering one-to-one and small group tuition both in person and online. This includes supporting learners for SATs, 11+, and general academic improvement, as well as teaching English as a Foreign Language to international students of varying ages and abilities.

In addition, I run a small tutoring team, overseeing lesson quality and supporting tutors to ensure consistency in delivery and student progress.
