Once a pupil has demonstrated a secure understanding, they are given opportunities to practise independently while receiving constructive feedback to consolidate their learning.

Building confidence is central to my approach. I believe children make the greatest progress when they experience success and recognise that it comes through effort, perseverance and positive learning behaviours. I use encouragement and meaningful praise to help pupils develop resilience and become increasingly independent learners.

I also value open and honest communication with parents. I believe tutoring works best when parents feel informed and involved, so I aim to build positive relationships based on trust, providing regular updates on progress and ensuring we work together to support each child's learning journey.
