I clarify every point and make certain my student has grasped the present concept before I proceed with the next. Where appropriate, the PPT presentation is followed by a brief video which makes the content come alive. My PowerPoint presentations, as well as my notes on PDF or Word files are available for my students after the lesson.

I finish the lesson practicing exam-style questions, and I provide my students with lots of past exam papers. It goes without saying that regular revision is very important.

I have spent many years accumulating a wide range of academic qualifications, and my work has often primarily consisted of passing on my knowledge to others in a form they can understand. I get a lot of satisfaction from helping people to understand something they thought was beyond them. By virtue of having studied several subjects at a high level, I empathise with the feeling of finding something difficult, and have the patience and technique to get past this. My whole career has been geared towards some form of teaching. I started working as a tutor in London and Surrey in 2013/2014, mainly for students who had been excluded from school. In 2015 I relocated and began tutoring private clients in East Anglia. In 2016 I started offering online tuition, first using Skype, and now with Zoom. Teaching Experience:
I have over 10 years of experience teaching A Level Psychology, during which I have consistently helped students achieve strong outcomes. As the lead teacher for small group interventions, I successfully supported students in raising their grades through evidence-informed strategies. Additionally, I have over 9 years of leadership experience, working with teachers across multiple subjects to enhance their classroom practice and improve student achievement.

Additionally, I have been a lead examiner for 9 years whilst examining for two exam boards from GCSE to A-Level within the UK and internationally!
