For older students, however, I do not want to undermine the importance of being properly prepared for public examinations. Tutoring Approach:
I teach sailing during the summers to children and adults alike, so I can quickly adjust topics and lessons to be suitable for different age ranges. I love working out how each individual learns best and strive to ensure everyone I teach reaches their full potential. I want to make the learning process fun and enjoyable, and not be seen as a chore! I tailor my lessons to the student's abilities and personality. I am a highly experienced Science teacher with 25 years plus teaching Chemistry (specialist), Physics and Biology up to GCSE level and beyond, with a comprehensive subject knowledge. I have 8 years' ongoing experience as a AQA and Edexcel Examiner, marking Chemistry papers and working with mark schemes. For exams, the requirements of the exam board are paramount. I prepare students on how to revise most efficiently and structure their answers to score maximum marks.
