As a teenager I was lucky enough to receive tuition myself and it made a huge difference, so I really know how much of an advantage it gives.

Tutoring is my full-time job and has been for many years.

In the cases for tutoring mechanics, my tutee found it difficult to identify and link various components of the forces together and to grasp the content clearly. Thus, I investigated the source of this lack of understanding then gave a clear explanation and support. Afterwards, I managed to explain various application questions using the struggling contents and interacting with my tutee (ie. asking what the next step would be) as I went through the questions to expand his understanding. I put an emphasis on a deep understanding of each concept, theory, method, and observation, dissolving misconceptions, as well as acquiring and mastering technical skills. This platform is also used for in-person sessions for faster responses and a more stimulating and interactive lesson. For group tutorials at home, I utilise a physical whiteboard in my living room on which both I and the students can write, in addition to slides presented on a screen. In all cases, the whole lesson is available for revision as a pdf file after each session.

Tutoring Approach:
I work exclusively online via Zoom, with a shared interactive whiteboard, structured homework, and direct email communication between sessions.

Each engagement begins with a diagnostic session. I assess the student's current level, identify the specific gaps in their understanding, and build a tailored programme from there. Every student receives a strategy designed around their syllabus and their individual goals.

Typical sessions combine targeted concept work and past-paper practice. Between lessons, homework is prepared and shared on the whiteboard; I follow up by email once it is ready. Progress is reviewed continuously, and the plan is adjusted accordingly.

My students are expected to invest effort between sessions and complete their homework. I work with a small, carefully selected cohort of students each term. Places are limited and not all enquiries are accepted. I hold a current PVG Scheme certificate and am fully vetted. I am a Liverpool-based Aerospace Engineering undergraduate at UWE Bristol with nearly six years of tutoring and education-support experience. I teach Maths and Science from KS2 through GCSE, with suitable A-level topics considered after checking the exact subject and content. From August 2020 to June 2026, I worked as a Tutor and Education Support Assistant at The One Tuition Ltd.
