I have a dual background in Electrical Engineering and Psychology and retired in 2007 after 20 years as a University lecturer. At different stages in my career I have taught telecommunications engineering, computer programming, software engineering, artificial intelligence and psychology. For relaxation I listen to jazz and blues.

I have been tutoring students since March 2008 and am able to offer maths, physics and ICT from primary up to 'A' level, and general science (biology, chemistry, and physics) up to GCSE level. I have taught mathematics classes to students between the ages of 10 years old and 19 years old, most commonly this was at GCSE and A level.

I have a degree in Biology, experience working within the NHS and I am currently tutoring to students in the evenings, alongside my full time FE teaching role.
I am a very relaxed teacher, who likes to get to know my students so I can tailor a personalised approach to my lessons.

Teaching Experience:
I am a PGCE trained science teacher and I have spent 1 year teaching in a secondary school where I was able to teach all science subjects to GCSE students. I ran an after school science club to a group of students who were wanting additional support. I have spent the past 1.5 years lecturing at Buxton College to T-Level and BTEC students, teaching both Biology and Chemistry to level 3 and 4 students plus healthcare units. I have also been private tutoring for the past 10 months in the evenings.
