I am a graduate in Physics with Astrophysics, which was a four year degree, which included me living and learning in Italy. My degree was challenging yet enjoyable, and contained a lot of Maths, which to me was great! As a born communicator writing and teaching have always appealed, and having spent the last decade tutoring and working for the Institute of Physics, I can definitely say I enjoy it as much now as I did when I started.. Personal Description:
I am a friendly and outgoing tutor. I have studied at Wilson's School and I have a variety of interests. Teaching has always been my passion and I enjoy interacting with young students.

Teaching Experience:
I initially started teaching students at my local library. Finding it a very rewarding experience, I continued this passion by teaching 11+ and GCSE students. I have now added several A Level students as well to my lessons.

I have taught 11+ students on a regular basis. I have also conducted many intensive courses for 11+ Maths and English in July/August in order to help them gain momentum for the 11+ entrance exams.

I have helped several GCSE and students achieve their target grades and have enjoyed seeing them gain confidence with every lesson.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe in connecting with my students in a way that they gain confidence and clear insight in their subject. I follow a clear structure in my lessons in order to cover all relevant topics that they need help in, teaching them not just the theory but also the exam technique to help them achieve the highest marks possible. I share tricks and learning devices with them in order to make memorising/revising a more efficient experience. I set regular homework, including solving past papers.

I focus on helping my students achieve excellence in their subjects by helping them aim higher. I firmly believe that every student has the capability within to attain success. My goal is to help them in this process and make the journey as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

I, Ms Soo Jung, am an exceptionally effective Physics and General Science educator and motivator. Tutoring Approach:
My primary approach to tutoring is to provide an emotionally safe and supportive learning environment that augments and develops the students existing knowledge and understanding, by ensuring a solid comprehension of the conceptual basis of Science in general and Physics in particular. I actively engage my students with the material being covered so that they feel passionately and enthusiastically involved with the process of knowledge creation.
I believe that every student has access to a unique perspective and skill set that they can employ when attempting to solve new problems, in unfamiliar situations and they are strongly encouraged to show resilience and perseverance especially when creativity, critical thinking and reflection are required. I am a current A-Level student, studying Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and Business at sixth form. I want to help students achieve their academic goals, and I believe I can work well with students at a variety of levels. I believe I am friendly and approachable and I want to motivate and empower students to help them become the best that they can be.

Teaching Experience:
I currently work as a teaching assistant at a primary school, and I have taught and worked with children up to the age of 15, having experience in teaching at GCSE level and below. I have mentored younger students at my school for several years, and have also worked with family friends and relatives. This has mainly been in English, Maths and Sciences.

My approach is tailored to each individual student depending on their particular strengths and weaknesses. Enthusiastic and hardworking private tutor, currently studying Engineering at St John's College Oxford, tutoring during the holidays and term time. I'm offering tutoring for the PAT entrance test and advice for Oxford admissions, as well as lessons in Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry up to A-Level, in person (in Cambridge) or online.

Teaching Experience:
I've gained 6 months experience tutoring students up to A-level, both independently and as part of the tutoring agency UK Study Centre. I'm providing guidance and support for Oxford admissions, specifically for subjects requiring the PAT entrance exam, including personal statement writing, interview and exam preparation. I've achieved top grades in 12 GCSEs and 4 A-levels, giving me experience in converting understanding and exam technique into results in exam situations. I've been awarded a scholarship at Oxford in 1st year, which has required a diligent work ethic and thorough preparation for deadlines, skills that help me to provide well planned and entertaining lessons for students.

I am a physics and maths teacher with 18 years teaching experience. I am passionate about helping pupils understand this fascinating subject so that they can reach their potential

Teaching Experience:
I have taught physics up and and including A level for 20 years. I have also taught maths up to GCSE for many years. I am a previous head of science & assistant headteacher. Previously, I am an examiner for OCR Physics at A level and WJEC for Science at GCSE and currently deliver the WJEC specification to students in Wales. I tutor pupils from all examination boards across the UK.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is to ensure students understand the areas of learning they are struggling with and build on that to ensure confidence in all areas of the course. I challenge pupils on what they already know to ensure it is correctly reinforced and their confidence grows. I tutor using reciprocal learning, where students are able to independently learn a topic and then have a tutorial style lesson where they reinforce that learning. Tutoring styles are always adapted to the needs of the learner which is very quickly established.
