I will work with each tutee on an individual basis and adjust the tuition lessons to their needs. There is no standard one size fits all model with me. Homework will be set to enable the subject matter to be reinforced with some self-learning at home. If your child is quiet and shy or is in a mediocre class or is just coasting along or is struggling to achieve the grades required to get into the University course of their choice, whether it is Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacology, Engineering, Computing, Optometry or other science course, then tuition with myself will enable them to boost their grades and give them the advantage that they need. Honest school teachers will tell you that it is the noisy and disruptive pupils that get their attention, whereas the quite shy hardworking pupils tend to get neglected. Busy school teachers just do not have the time or energy to devote to helping their quieter or weaker pupils and it is these pupils that especially benefit from extra personal tuition. On the other hand a brighter pupil may be so far ahead of his or her peers that the teacher is just not able to give them the attention they need. I use powepoint to teach my lessons. I always make sure my students understand the main concepts first and close the gaps in their knowkedge. I then apply their knowledge to different exam questions to make them confident in answeing exam problems.

I am a current A-Level student, studying Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and Business at sixth form. I want to help students achieve their academic goals, and I believe I can work well with students at a variety of levels. I currently work as a teaching assistant at a primary school, and I have taught and worked with children up to the age of 15, having experience in teaching at GCSE level and below. I've taught students aged 7 to 18, both online and in person, using a flexible and encouraging approach. Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching follows three stages for topics that students are less familiar with:

Guided Example - I begin by working through an example with the student, explaining each step in detail.

Supported Practice - I then provide a similar question broken into smaller parts, prompting the student to ask questions and gradually increasing their independence. This step is repeated until they are confident.

Independent Practice - Finally, I give the student a full question without hints or prompts, to check their understanding and ability to solve it independently.

I can tutor Mathematics up to A-Level (including Further Maths), and I am confident with all the content at this level. Informally, I have tutored peers in the past and found it rewarding to see their progress reflected in improved grades.
